My Sketchbook Practice

I’m a huge fan of sketchbooks, and over the years I’ve filled many of them. Sketchbooks are an important part of my creative practice. What these images don’t show is the feeling behind them, the music or audiobook that was playing, the moments of singing out loud (badly, but enjoying it), and the stretches of time in between making when I did nothing except sit quietly. Your creative practice won’t look like mine, and that’s the point. Whatever you create during our time together is yours and yours alone.
